Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A42 5G, which will be the company’s cheapest 5G phone. It comes with a superb camera setup, a hefty battery, and a 6.6-inch screen. Because the Galaxy A42 5G is still a new gadget, it has a nice appearance but is made of plastic. The square camera system and an LED flash are likewise housed in the polycarbonate panel.
It is 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4 mm in size and weighs roughly 206 grams. It has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 399 PPI density, and a screen-to-body ratio of 86.1 per cent. A corning glass protects the front glass, which also has an Always-on display.
The Galaxy A42 5G has a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel depth camera. The cameras are connected by an LED flash and can record 4K footage when used simultaneously. A 32 MP selfie camera is mounted on the front of the hole, and the sensor supports HDR.
On the hardware side, the Galaxy A42 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset manufactured in a 7nm process. The SOC is working on its task at a rate of 2.84 GHz. The Adreno 620 GPU will provide excellent graphics, and the gadget is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both variants have 128GB of internal capacity and compatibility for micro SD cards.
