How To Use A Dyson Airwrap – fashion

The Dyson Airwrap is a new all-in-one hair styling tool that makes curling, brushing, shaping, and drying your hair a breeze. Unlike traditional curlers, it uses heated air instead of hot metal, which means your hair is less likely to be damaged.

It also comes with dryer and brush attachments that can help you add volume and shape to your hair while drying it. It’s easy to operate this machine, so don’t be afraid to give it a shot. Just remember to wet and towel dry your hair before starting, and then style it any way you wish.

How To Use A Dyson Airwrap

For little curls, attach the 1.2-inch barrel

Two curling barrels are included with the Airwrap. The 1.2-inch barrel is best for tiny curls, so go for it if that’s the appearance you want.
All of the curling barrels, as well as all of the other attachments, simply snap onto the Airwrap. To lock the handle in place, press all attachments into the top of the handle and spin it clockwise.

For bigger curls, use the 1.6-inch barrel

The 1.6-inch barrel is a great choice if you want huge, flowing curls. To lock it into place, click it onto the Airwrap and turn it counterclockwise.

Use any style products you have on hand

If you normally use a product before styling your hair, do it now, before curling it. This aids in the preservation of your curls.
Mousse is a popular way to prepare your hair before curling it. Squeeze a handful and rub it all over your hair to protect it and keep your curls in place.

Another wonderful pre-curling option is setting spray. If you want your curls to stay in place longer, spray your hair with setting spray before curling.

Curls can also be achieved without the use of any products. However, your curls might not last as long or stay in place as well.

Pull a 1–3 in (2.5–7.6 cm) thick chunk of hair in front of your head

Separate your hair into parts that are nearly the same size as the curls you want. If your hair is thick, strive for 1 in (2.5 cm) chunks. If you have thinner hair, you can use a portion closer to 3 in (7.6 cm). Pull a part of the paper in front of you.
Pull a narrower portion of hair for lesser curls in general. Grab a larger chunk if you want bigger curls.
Because curling with the Airwrap is so simple, you may try out different hair parts to find what you like most.

Set the Airwrap’s heat and power settings to high

There are two knobs on the Airflow handle, one for heat and the other for power. Before you begin curling, set both of these to high.
You don’t have to wait for the Airwrap to warm up like a traditional curling iron, so wait until you’re ready to use it before turning it on.
Because it just uses air, the Airwrap does not damage or burn your hair like other curling irons.

Wrap the curling barrel around your hair for 15 seconds and hold it in place

Touch the barrel to your hair’s tips. You don’t have to twist your hair because the air wraps it around the barrel. Bring the curler slowly towards your scalp and wrap it around your hair. To dry your hair, leave it in place for 15 seconds.
Wrap your hair around the barrel by hand instead of letting the air wrap it up if you want a looser curl. This offers you a more understated look.
Look for the arrows on the barrel if you’re not sure which direction to hold the curler. Make sure they’re pointing in the opposite direction of you.

To keep the curl in place, go to the cold shot setting

The cold shot button is located beneath the power and heat settings on the Airflow handle. To set the curl, press and hold it for 5-10 seconds.
