Three things are key to having cloud skin: make sure your skin is hydrated and plump before applying any makeup, but not so much that it appears slick or sticky; apply makeup in thin layers using soft brushes to allow your natural skin to show through; and, as a final step, dust a very light powder wash on top.

Foundation and Concealer

Powder
The powder enters the picture now. Something transparent and finely ground is what you’ll need; pressed or loose-setting powder will work as well. Using a brush tiny enough for precise application is crucial.
After dipping the brush into the powder and tapping off any extra, lightly tap or swirl the substance over the face. Dust the inner corners of the eyes, the area around the nose, the jawline, and the hairline along the upper forehead with a small amount of powder. Apply powder to your chin and nose as well if you notice that your T-zone becomes greasy over the day. Avert your face’s high points.
