Wearing a contact lens is very easy and simple and has nothing to worry about. To Wear your contact lens you hold the lens with one of your fingers open your eyes wide lookup while not blocking your lenses at all then place your artificial lens in your eyes.

After doing that roll your eyes slowly then close your eyes to help place the lens properly.

How long does it last

Coloured contact lenses do have expiring dates which you will find on the package that comes with them.

Depending on the brand you bought coloured contant lens can last for about a year so ensure to always check out for that.

Once you realise it is expired or broken before the expired date please stop using it just go get a new one.

How to care for your coloured contact lenses

  • Before touching lenses, always wash and rinse your hands with a mild soap.
  • After taking lenses out and before putting them back in, clean and rinse them with an approved sterile solution. Use bottled water instead of tap water, which isn’t sterile and has been related to severe bacterial eye infections.
    To avoid scratching your glasses, keep your fingernails short and smooth.
  • Keep your lens case clean at all times.
  • Before inserting lenses, check for foreign particles, rips, or damage.
  • After you’ve inserted your lenses, do your makeup.
  • When swimming, avoid using soft lenses.
  • Rewetting drops prescribed by your eye doctor are the only eye drops that may be used safely with soft contact lenses
