The 3-1-1 rule essentially mandates that all liquids must be in 3.4-ounce or smaller containers and that all of your carry-on liquids must fit in a single clear, quart-sized bag. All kinds of commonplace things, including sunscreen, cosmetics, lotion, and shampoo, are covered by this law. Consider this rule before taking the road if you need to pack liquid, gel, or cream skincare products.
Makeup
You should adhere to the previously indicated liquid restrictions while packing liquid makeup products. Mascara, brow gel, and concealer are acceptable carry-on items as long as they weigh less than 3.4 ounces and are contained in a clear, quart-sized bag.
You could believe that you can bring any solid makeup you choose, but this isn’t always the truth. Keep in mind that when you go through the X-ray screening, any powder or powder-like things that are more than 12 ounces need to be put in a separate bin.
