If they like your page, they can also follow your posts so they don’t miss a thing. Business pages are an essential element of your digital marketing strategy because they give you a platform to build a following and drive potential customers to your website.

All businesses on Facebook should have a Facebook Business Page. It’s a bit like a shopfront where you can showcase your goods and services to the world. Most people who visit your page will not see your personal profile and if you have a business page, you have full control over who sees your content.
This means that you can be more targeted and drive more sales using your Facebook business page. Why do businesses use Facebook Business Pages? Facebook Business Pages allow you to:
- Create an engaging experience for your customers by posting engaging content, hosting live video, and facilitating two-way communication
- Create a growing audience to drive more sales, leads, and brand awareness
- Create a professional image for your business and build trust in your brand
- Drive traffic to your website and generate leads by driving customers to an external landing page
- Track the performance of your Facebook efforts and analyze your audience to make informed marketing decisions
2. Use Facebook Ads to Grow your Audience
Another way to grow your audience on Facebook is to invest in Facebook ads. Facebook ads are cost-per-click or cost-per-impression advertising that enable you to create a highly targeted audience based on their demographics and interests.
While you can’t run traditional ads on a business page, you can run ads on the Facebook platform to drive people to your page.
When you do, you have access to tools that will allow you to create ads based on demographics, interests, and behaviours. When someone clicks on your ad, they are taken to your business’s Facebook page, where they can learn more about your business and what you do.
A post on your page may get a few likes and shares, but it won’t reach everyone who’d like to see it. Facebook ads are the perfect way to get in front of more people who would be interested in your content. You can get a lot of value from Facebook ads if you know what you’re doing.
A/B split testing and getting feedback from your audience is a great way to optimize your ads and make them more effective. You’ll also want to diversify your ad spend across different ad types, ad audiences, and ad duration to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket.
By spreading your ad spend around, you’ll have a more consistent flow of new customers in your funnel.
3. Use Live Video to Engage and Educate
Facebook has recently made a big push towards live video. On any given day, more than 3 billion people are Facebook users and one billion of those people are on Facebook daily. In order to capture the attention of all those people, you need to think outside the box.

Because Facebook shows your live video in a newsfeed that is always changing, your video will be shown to a wide audience and will be available for an extended period of time.
When you host a live video, you create a feeling of urgency and drive engagement to the next level. You can also drive more traffic to your site by hosting a live video and including a call to action in the video description.

You can host the video on your page or on a Facebook group page where you’ve invited your customers. When live, you can respond to people’s comments and questions by inviting them to join in on the conversation.
Live video can be as simple as you want it to be. You can use it to host an informational product launch, give an inside peek into your business and operation, or even host a Q&A session where you invite your customers to ask questions.
4. Make Your Posts Pop with Color
In addition to choosing the right time to post and creating engaging content, you should also keep your posts color coordinated. Your Facebook posts can be a bright and vibrant way to capture your audience’s attention, and incorporating color will help you make an impact.
In fact, research shows that when people see vibrant colours, it stimulates their senses and attention. This means that your posts will get more attention and you’ll be able to engage in meaningful conversations with your followers.
The simple act of using color in your Facebook posts will lend them more visual interest, which means that your posts will be remembered by your followers.
By incorporating colour in your posts, you will be able to grab people’s attention at first glance and keep them engaged.
This may sound a bit silly, but Facebook posts with a lot of images get more engagement. With that in mind, you can increase the amount of engagement your posts receive by using a lot of colorful images.
This might seem like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised how many businesses forget this super simple trick. There’s a reason why newspapers use a lot of images and why magazines are printed with a lot of colour. It’s because it makes reading more engaging and enjoyable.
It’s the same on Facebook and other social media platforms. If you want people to click on your post and stay there for a while, you need to make it visually appealing. You can do this in two ways:
- Add colorful images to your posts.
- Post engaging videos
5. Ensure Every Post is Good to Go With an Editorial Calendar
When you post on social media, your goal is to create content that your followers will love and engage with. But what happens if you run out of ideas? What if you don’t know what to post next?
Remember, on Facebook, you’re not just posting to your page and hoping people like it and engage with it.
You’re also trying to appeal to Facebook’s algorithm. That’s why it’s important to schedule your posts and create an editorial calendar. By scheduling your posts to go live at the optimal times, you’re trying to tap into the Facebook algorithm and boost the visibility of your posts.
If you just post whenever you feel like it, your Facebook page will be a mess. You’ll get some engagement, but it’ll be inconsistent and have little value to your business. To increase your engagement, you need to have a consistent and engaging presence on Facebook.
The best way to do that is with an editorial calendar. Every single post that you put on your page should be planned out in advance. You should know when you’ll post, what the post will be about, which images you’ll use, and where you’ll link to.
You’ll want to post at consistent times and on consistent days so that you have a routine and your audience can rely on your posts.
6. Leverage Facebook’s ad targeting capabilities
When creating and running Facebook ads, you can use Facebook’s built-in targeting options to tap into your ideal customer. When you target your ads, you are telling Facebook what kind of people you want to see your posts.
When you target your ads, Facebook will show your posts to the people who are most likely to engage with them. That means more engagement, more likes, and more clicks.
When you’re advertising on Facebook, you have the ability to target your audience in a number of ways. Here are some of the most important targeting options that you should consider.
- Age – How old they are, what stage of life they’re in, and what they’re interested in
- Gender – What they prefer to be called, what they identify as, and what they’re interested in
- Relationship Status – What their relationship status is and what they’re interested in
- Workplace – Where they work and what they do there
- Education – What degree they have, what they’re studying, and what they’re interested in –
- Languages – What language they speak and what languages are significant to them
- Location – Where they live and what interests them nearby
- Devices – What kind of devices they use and what they’re interested in
7. Utilize Facebook Groups for Marketing
While many people think of Facebook pages as the ideal place to host your marketing strategy, you can also use Facebook groups to your advantage. Groups are a great place to interact with people who share your interests and are very engaged with their interests. You can also use groups as a way to gain followers for your page.
If you create a group that is focused on your product or service, you can make it exclusive to your followers and encourage them to join the group. When you interact with your followers and host discussions in the group, they will be more likely to engage with the group and follow your page.
Facebook Groups are a great place to engage your existing audience and attract new customers at the same time. There are millions of groups on Facebook with millions of members in each of them.
They’re the perfect place to start a conversation and get the word out about your product or service. If you’re starting a new business, you can find a Facebook Group related to your industry or niche and engage with like-minded people in your field.
Asking questions, engaging with other members, and providing value are all great ways to get involved in Facebook Groups.
When you add value to the group, you’ll be appreciated and make friends along the way. Friendship and trust can take you a long way when it comes to marketing your business and generating leads.
8. Facebook Organic and Paid Advertising Strategy
When you use Facebook ads, you’re paying for visibility. While Facebook ads can help you boost your followers and reach, you can also tap into the power of organic Facebook posts. When you post content to your Facebook page organically, it will be shown to all of your followers and people who like your page.
By using scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social, you can tap into the power of organic posts and post at optimal times.
Interestingly, you can use both organic and paid Facebook marketing to engage your audience and get results. It’s important to know that you can’t simply focus on one or the other. You need to use both concurrently in order to be successful.
To do this, you should be aware of the fact that Facebook has a newsfeed algorithm. This algorithm ranks your posts and decides how many people will see them. You want your posts to rank as high as possible so that as many people as possible see them.
To get your posts to rank as high as possible, Facebook recommends that you make your posts between 20-40 words long and include relevant links and images.
9. Facebook Messenger Marketing Strategy
Facebook Messenger is a powerful tool for reaching your customers and growing your business. With 2 billion people on Facebook and nearly 1 billion people using Messenger each month, it’s a channel you can’t afford to ignore.
By building a strong relationship with your customers through Facebook Messenger, you can build trust, drive conversions, and keep your customers coming back for more.

You can engage with them through groups and one-on-one conversations that are a great way to build relationships and trust.
