The Xiaomi Mix 4 isn’t Xiaomi’s first foray into under-display cameras, but it is the first time the company has put this technology on the market and made it available to enthusiasts. With the exception of the under-display camera, the Mix 4 is a high-end flagship package that costs less than the vast majority of competitors in this category.
The Xiaomi Mix 4 design isn’t an identical clone of another Xiaomi smartphone, but it does remind me of the Xiaomi Mi Ultra, which could be because both devices seek for a clean slate.
The front panel is, of course, the star of this design. Thanks to its under-display camera technology, Xiaomi was able to achieve a clean slate. This means there are no notches, punch holes, cut-outs, or other features.
