The Tecno Pop 5 Go is similar to the Tecno Pop 5c but with a larger display. A larger display needs a larger battery. While the Tecno Pop 5 Go outperforms the Pop 5c in terms of functionality, it still falls short of the basic Pop 5.
The body of the Tecno Pop 5 Go is made of plastic. The camera and an LED flash are housed in a hump on the back. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The low-cost Android phone has a 5.71-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. For the selfie camera, there is a dewdrop cutout.
Both the front and rear cameras on the Tecno Pop 5 Go are 5 megapixels. The camera has HDR and AI features. Both cameras have a built-in LED flash. The rear camera can record 720p HD videos, while the front camera can capture VGA videos and unlock the phone using facial recognition.
The Unisoc SC7731e chipset, which has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, powers the Tecno Pop 5 Go. This CPU appears to be similar to that of the Pop 5C. 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded to 32 GB with a microSD card.
Android 10 is installed on the phone (Go Edition). A 4000 mAh replaceable battery is also included.
