Who did Taylor Swift Betray?
If you were to make a list of people Taylor Swift had betrayed, it would be way too long. From John Mayer, to Jake Gyllenhaal, to Harry Styles and Katy Perry, there are few celebrities who have been on the receiving end of as much betrayal as Taylor Swift.
But in our opinion, one person takes the cake for most betrayed by Taylor Swift: Calvin Harris. In 2013, Calvin Harris made the decision that he was going to let fans in on his personal life.
So he began tweeting about his relationship with Taylor Swift. And then he started posting pictures of them together on social media and tagging Taylor’s account. It all seemed like something a person would do when they’re really happy in a relationship. But then, things changed…
The tweets became less frequent and the photos disappeared altogether. His posts talked less about love and more about how great life was without someone else. When it was revealed that Harris collaborated with Rihanna on their hit song “This Is What You Came For,” he posted this cryptic tweet: “And she said I ruin her good girl image.”
All signs pointed to Taylor getting dumped by Calvin Harris—and not just dumped, but publicly humiliated while wearing his now infamous T-shirt that says “I’m Not Sorry.”
Is daylight by Harry Styles about Taylor Swift?
A popular conspiracy theory is that the song “Daylight” by Harry Styles is about Taylor Swift. One of the lyrics in the song that is said to support this theory are “I see your face in my mind, you’re the one I can’t replace.”
If you look at Taylor’s face and try to find someone who looks like her, it’s hard to find a match. The two were in a relationship for three months, but they eventually called it quits. This could be why they believe this song is about Taylor Swift.
However, there are other lyrics that do not mention Swift at all, which makes this theory seem less likely. Another supporting lyric for this hypothesis would be that Styles sings about trying to get over someone who he was madly in love with.
This doesn’t seem like it lines up with what happened between Swift and Styles, as their relationship ended amicably.
