The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G enters Samsung’s mid-range lineup, featuring a design and hardware combination that isn’t too unlike previous Samsung products. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is the first 5G smartphone in the Galaxy M series.
Starting with the design of the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G, we have a setup that shares DNA with other Samsung smartphones, with honourable
mentions going to the Samsung Galaxy M62 and Samsung Galaxy M32. This device’s back cover is made up of several different hues of a single colour. This is the first time Samsung has used a gradient pattern on her phone.
A square camera module with four cameras, an LED flash, and the Samsung branding, which pretty much reveals it’s a Samsung smartphone, coexists with the gradient design, resulting in a layout similar to the Galaxy M62.
Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Gray are the two colour possibilities for this device. The fact that we only have two colour options implies that fans who don’t like either of them may find themselves in a pickle.
A 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a drop notch is found in the front. One of the panel’s features is its 720 x 1600 resolution, which is one of the lowest we’ve seen on a super AMOLED display. Furthermore, our density is roughly 266 PPI.
