The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is a higher-end version of the Oppo Reno 5 5G, as well as a successor to the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G. As a successor, it features an enhanced camera system, a slightly larger battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity processor, all housed in a retro-styled casing.
Oppo appears to be playing a game of “if it ain’t broke, don’t repair it” in a system where new designs are highly valued. They appear to have been comfortable with the pattern they started with the Reno 4 series.
To that end, Oppo essentially re-created the design of the Reno 4 Pro 5G on the newly introduced Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, leaving enthusiasts with little to get excited about.
Fans who didn’t own the previous Reno, on the other hand, may find this design really appealing, as it is one of the best on upper mid-range smartphones.
A dual-tone design can be found on the back, which houses a camera module with four cameras and an LED flash.
Please keep in mind that the smartphone is available in five colour options: Starry Night, Aurora Blue, Moonlight black, and Star Wish red.
