The OnePlus 9 is a fantastic smartphone with a premium body design and a powerful camera setup. The device is a direct successor to the OnePlus 8 which was released earlier this year.
Design and Display
A casual glance at the phone reveals OnePlus’ strong and innovative design. The phone is made of premium materials and has glass on both the back and front. It has a decent color palette to choose from, however, it will vary depending on your location.
The Winter Mist hue, on the other hand, is fantastic because it features an industry-first gradient refraction effect. Reflective glass on the panel, combined with a neutral palette, helps to calm the mix while also providing an appealing luminous finish.
Another color option is the Astral Black, which is both basic and traditional in appearance. This color was created by combining a glossy glass with a matte film, resulting in dark blue-black colors.
Furthermore, the smartphone features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED Display with a 120 Hz panel and ultra-smooth scrolling in every frame. The resolution of this flat screen is 1080 x 2400 pixels, and it offers an Always-on display.
The screen display of the OnePlus 9 will have excellent absolute color, picture contrast, and intensity scale accuracy. Users will benefit from enhanced response time when scrolling, watching videos, and gaming thanks to the ultra-fast OLED and 120 Hz screen refresh rate.
Cameras
The camera was co-developed by OnePlus and Hasselblad. The Hasselblad Camera for Mobile is built to take the greatest photos you’ve ever seen. Natural Color Calibration, for example, provides an absolutely genuine color and the most natural skin tone replication.
The first is a 49 MP Sony IMX689, 1/1.43″, 23mm, /1.8, 7P camera, followed by a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX766, 1/1.56″, 14mm, /2.2, Freeform Lens, 7P, and a 2 MP monochrome lens. Advanced image technologies such as 22 OCL, 12-bit RAW, dual ISO, and 3-HDR are included in the primary camera.
The camera aids in the capture of photographs with faster focus speeds, better color accuracy, and a wider dynamic range. Its secondary ultrawide camera, with a 14mm focal length, will provide wide-angle detail and clarity. It can record videos in 8K resolution, and the 16-megapixel front camera boasts Auto-HDR.
