Huawei P50 Pro – Full Phone Specifications

The Huawei P50 Pro is both a more expensive follow-up to the Huawei P50 and the Huawei P40 Pro 4G. It features greater RAM, more storage, a stronger camera system, a bigger battery, and a little larger display as a more deluxe counterpart. In essence, it was created for enthusiasts whose requirements go beyond those of the standard P50.

Design and Display

The Huawei P50 Pro appears to be made of the same material as the standard P50, but what actually sets it apart from it are the curved display and colour options. Those interested in this device have a wider range of colour choices than their less expensive sister, including Black, Gold, White, Pink, and Blue.

Looking at the panel displays a slightly larger 6.6-inch OLED display than its less expensive sibling’s 6.5-inch display. Additionally, this display seems to be curved, which isn’t the case with the standard P50. The display’s strengths include a 1228 x 2700 pixel resolution, a 450 PPI density, and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

As we move to the back, we observe that the narrative is much the same. Here, the cameras are also displayed by two very large circles. Additionally, we have a description of the camera and information about the Huawei branding, which confirms that it is a Huawei smartphone. Additionally, the IP68 classification on this smartphone provides protection against dust and water.

The Cameras

The Huawei P50 Pro provides a more capable camera configuration, as was indicated in the introduction. The offerings on its rear arrangement are the basis for this reality.

A 64MP periscope camera with an aperture of f/3.5 replaces the 12MP on the standard P50, and there are two cameras on the back: a 50MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, and a 64MP camera.

We also have a 40MP black and white camera that isn’t on its less expensive sister, as well as a 13MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The maximum video resolution for this camera is 4k At 60 fps.

A single 13MP camera with an aperture of f/2.4 is available for selfies, and video capture on this camera is limited to 4k at 60 frames per second.

Hardware and Software

The Huawei P50 Pro has the same Snapdragon 888 4G chipset as its less expensive sister in terms of performance. It does, however, provide additional RAM and storage.

Here, there are 8GB / 12GB RAM variants available, as opposed to merely 8GB ram as seen on its less expensive sister. In addition, we provide storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, as opposed to 128GB and 256GB on the other.

Here, the battery’s capacity was increased from 4100mAh to 4360mAh while keeping the 66W rapid charge capability.

The Huawei-provided HarmonyOS 2.0 serves as an alternative to Android on the software side.
