Bushiness has its own set of problems. Eyebrow hairs grow at varying lengths and can become unruly, stray hairs can make brows look scraggly, and don’t even get us started on the unibrow issue. Don’t rush to the waxing parlour just yet (we feel most men don’t require brow waxing).

How to trim eyebrows at home
Brush them up
Brush your brows forward with a moustache comb so that the hairs point toward your forehead. This will allow you to see which hairs are longer and extend beyond your brows’ natural top line.
If your brows are sparse, use a mascara applicator rather than a comb. The tighter bristles will collect finer hairs that a comb may miss. You don’t even need a mascara wand—clean applicator wands may be purchased separately.
Trim the outsiders
After brushing your brow hairs to be as vertical as possible, cut any hairs that extend beyond the top line of your brows with tiny scissors. Use the natural line as a guide and avoid going towards the brow’s middle if you don’t want to create a hole. The idea is to achieve a good, even shape.
Take out the volume with a trimmer
Scissors are normally sufficient for trimming stray hairs that can make brows look unkempt, but if you have particularly thick brows, an eyebrow trimmer with a unique design can help cut through the mass.
If you want a more uniform look, use a trimmer instead of scissors. Make sure it’s an eyebrow trimmer (don’t expect your beard trimmer to do the job, or you’ll end up shaving your brows off). Gently trim your brows in the direction the hairs are pointing (with the grain) until they are all the same length.
Clean it up
After you’ve trimmed your brows, use tweezers to remove any stray hairs around the edges. Remember, we’re not attempting to form the brows; instead, we’re simply cleaning them up. Isolated hairs outside the brows themselves, such as around the margins and in the centre around your nose, should be plucked (the unibrow zone). Tweezing is preferable to shaving, which is difficult to execute effectively in such a difficult spot.
Slick them down
After you’ve gotten rid of the outliers, splash your face with water to clear the area. Apply a clear brow gel to help even out the brows and make them look glossy and consistent without adding any colour. It also makes it simpler to notice whether there are any hairs that need to be trimmed.
