Amazon provides many opportunities to save money and I want to share what I’ve learned with you! There are a lot of things we can do: shopping on Amazon, using Amazon Prime, and buying items with our Chase Freedom card (which gives 5% cash back).
Shopping on Amazon
Amazon has always been known for providing the best prices, but now there are even better deals to be had. If you’re looking to save some extra money, shopping on Amazon can provide a great opportunity.
The number one thing I recommend is only buying the items you need. Do not overspend on an item that you might not even use or wear. The last thing I want is to feel like I bought something that I won’t end up using or wearing in the future. Don’t do it!
Next, if you’re trying to save money, buy when things are on sale! It’s hard to find good deals during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but throughout the year there are so many sales going on at Amazon. The key is staying alert and being flexible with your schedule so you have enough time to take advantage of these sales.
Saving with Amazon Prime
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can save with free two-day shipping.
This is my favorite way to save with Amazon. This allows me to purchase items on Amazon without waiting for them to be shipped to my house. There are tons of things I buy on Amazon every month and the speed at which these items arrive is priceless!
You need a Prime membership to take advantage of this perk. Another perk that isn’t exclusive to Prime members is the one-hour delivery service. With this service, if it’s available in your area, you can order anything from food and essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent without waiting for your items to be delivered.
Saving with the Chase Freedom Card
Today’s deal is a great way to save money. You can receive 5% cash back on purchases made with your Chase Freedom card. This means you’ll earn up to an additional $150 back on the transaction!
This is a great way for those of us who love Amazon but don’t want to spend as much as we do there. If you’re not yet signed up for the Chase Freedom card, go ahead and sign up today! It’s really easy and will help you save money over time.

How to Use Amazon Prime
The first option, shopping on Amazon, is the easiest. You can shop from home or while you’re out and about by using an app that lets you scan items to add to your order. You can also use Amazon Prime for free two-day shipping and other perks like streaming TV and music.
The second option, using Amazon Prime, is a bit more complicated because you will need a credit card in your name with the Chase Freedom credit card. The Chase Freedom card gives 5% cash back when we shop at Amazon only.
To get started using Amazon Prime with the Chase Freedom card, sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime and then apply for the Chase Freedom card before December 19th. Once approved for the Chase Freedom card, you can start buying stuff with your points!

Lastly, use the savings catcher tool which allows you to save money by choosing certain items that would be good for your family and specific set of criteria (type of family member, age range etc). This will help you save $10 on almost anything your qualify for. You can use it as many times as you like!

There is an option that many people might not have considered before: gifting an Amazon gift card.
When you purchase a physical Amazon gift card, you get a $10 credit for your own account to use on anything on the site. This is perfect for someone who doesn’t want to spend their money on something they don’t need.
This is great for someone who already has everything they are looking for or may get them more interested in buying something they didn’t know about or never thought of trying before.
You’re also able to select the amount you want the person getting the card to receive. If you’re giving it to a family member or friend who loves technology, you can set it up so that each month they get $20 in credit until their next birthday!

It’s worth it–I highly recommend it!
