The Blackview A100 is a higher-end version of the Blackview A90. It comes with a more capable bundle as a more premium sister, putting it on a higher pedestal. It has greater RAM, storage, and a more appealing design, among other things. When you add together all of its features, the A100 could be the long-awaited game-changer in the A-series.
Taking a look at the Blackview A100 chassis design and comparing it to what was available on the A90 reveals a significant difference.
Blackview did an excellent job, in my opinion, of providing a more refined look that passes for a more current design. We’ve got a design that doesn’t scream “low-budget.” Of course, this is a good thing.
The back of the phone has a rather understated design, with the major feature being a square camera module with three cameras and an LED flash. The Blackview branding and a phrase that says “Only the Brave” are present on the back, indicating that this is a Blackview smartphone. This text reminds me of the Realme phone’s “Dare to leap” text.
Upfront, there’s a 6.67-inch IPS display with a hole punch camera in the top-middle location, rather than the drop notch found on the A80. A resolution of 1080 x 2400, a density of roughly 395 PPI, and a 20:9 aspect ratio are among the display’s advantages.
