The Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G raises the bar for the X60 series, featuring a more luxury package than the Vivo X60 Pro 5G. When comparing the two Android smartphones, it’s clear that enthusiasts will get a faster processor, greater storage options, and more.
Design and Display
When looking at the appearance of the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G, you’ll notice a resemblance to the design language utilized on its less expensive sister. They don’t appear exactly alike, but there’s no disputing that they have similar design elements.
The easiest way to determine the difference in design between the two smartphones is to look at the back design layout. To begin, we have a variety of colors, including orange and dark blue, as well as the non-plus X60 Gray, Aurora.
In comparison to the non-plus variant, the camera module on the X60 Pro Plus 5G has a somewhat different arrangement. We still have four cameras and an LED flash, though. The Vivo branding appears at the bottom of the back, indicating that this is a Vivo smartphone.
The 6.56-inch AMOLED display on the front is the same as on its sister. This display offers a 1080 x 2376 pixel resolution, a 398 PPI density, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Cameras
With enhanced cameras on the back, the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G takes things up a level. Instead of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP periscope telephoto camera, a 32MP regular telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultrawide camera on the back of the non-pro plus variant, we have a setup that reads a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP periscope telephoto camera, a 32MP regular telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultrawide camera.
This back camera arrangement, similar to that seen on the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra 5G, is capable of capturing videos at up to 8k resolution at 30 frames per second. Details on the additional video recording modes can be found in the specifications page.
On the selfie front, we get a single 32MP camera that can also take 4K films at 30 frames per second.
