The Umidigi Power 5S is essentially a less expensive version of the Power 5. To save money, the budget Android phone includes some hardware compromises as compared to the standard variant. The Umidigi Power 5S, on the other hand, retains the Power 5’s most notable feature: the huge 6150 mAh battery.
Apart from the battery, cameras, and display, the Power 5S appears to be a step back. In truth, it resembles the Umidigi A11s but with a larger battery. It has the same chipset as the A11s and, like the A11s, lacks features like a fingerprint sensor and an infrared thermometer.
The Umidigi Power 5s has a 3D unibody design with a less fingerprint-attracting surface. The logo and wording from Power 5’s “Beyond Dreams” may be found on the back. The smartphone is available in three colors: Carbon Grey, Sapphire Blue, and Jade Green.
On the back, there’s a black rectangular camera module with three vertically aligned cameras to the left. A dewdrop cutout at the front houses the front camera.
The 6.53-inch in-cell display of the Umidigi Power 5s features a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. With a 20:9 aspect ratio, the display enables dark mode. This is suitable for watching movies or surfing the internet.
