Umidigi, it turns out, bypassed number 4 and went directly to Umidigi Power 5, which replaces the Umdigi Power 3. This decision could be linked to the fact that the number “4” is considered unlucky in China. The Umidigi Power 5 doesn’t really live up to expectations in terms of subsequent products; more on that later in the article. The design of the Umidigi Power 5 can be compared to that of the Power 3. This design’s elements are inspired by the architecture of its predecessor.
A square camera module with three cameras, an LED flash, and an Infrared sensor can be found on the back. Below the camera module is a branded text that reads “Beyond Dream,” which is similar to the “Dare to jump” text found on Realme phones.
A 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio is shown when the Umidigi Power 5 is flipped to the front. This display is surrounded by bezels that are slightly larger than average, giving it a look that is far from modern.
The back of the phone has an infrared thermometer for tracking body temperature, joining the Umidigi A9 Pro 2021 and Umidigi A7s as phones with a contactless thermometer.
