Bras are mostly known and meant for supporting and holding the breast especially when you are outdoors and carrying out different activities.

Are you aware that there are different types of bras out there that you can choose, you might even have some of these different bras without knowing there are different or their names

Types of bras

Built-in – A built-in bra s usually found in pieces of clothing like a camisole tank top. This type of bra gives full coverage but not the best support and they are best for slender people with small breasts.

Balconette – This type of bra helps to hide your breast under your neckline cause they have short cups leaving the top of your breast exposed. They give good support but not that much and they are best for people with small breasts.

Bandeau – This bra is more of a tube top and are worn from above the head they give less support but covers the breast fully. They are best for people with small breasts but can also be used by people with big breasts only when indoors.

Bralette – This types of bra come mostly in a lacy material and always looks pretty, they lack underwires, padding, and cup. They can be worn as outerwear too, they don’t give much covering and support.

Cage – Cage bras always come with an elegant look with multiple straps below and above but they don’t give coverage cause they are meant to expose your curves as a fashionable bra.

They also give full support due to all the straps that are spread above and below it, they are not selective too as any breast size can make use of it.

Convertibles – Convertibles are styled in two ways, you can remove the strap and turn it into a strapless bra or you wear it with the straps on. They give good support, coverage and can be used by size and shape.

Cupless – These bras are good for firmer breasts and give little support with no coverage. They come with a bra frame but without cups.

Demi – Demis comes with cups that are halfway over your bust and also gives good support as long as you get the right size.

Full coverage – This bra gives full coverage, support and are good for ladies with big breasts.

Halter – Here the strap of this bra goes over your neck and it gives good coverage though still showing some cleavages. It also gives better support than strapless bras.
