The Tecno Pova 3 is the first model in the series’ 2022 generation, which is recognized for its strong battery life. It is the Tecno Pova 2 immediate suuccessor. This Tecno Phone seems to offer largely the same specs as its predecessor, but with some improvements in hardware and software. The same 7000 mAh battery is available in the Tecno Pova 3, however, it now has a faster charging capacity.

Design and Display
The front of the Tecno Pova 3 is covered in glass and has a plastic frame and back. The three rear cameras are arranged vertically, with each camera resting on a separate hump. If you look closely, this phone somewhat resembles its predecessor. Three colours are available for the smartphone: Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black.
You receive an O-cutout for the front camera at the front. The display’s 6.9-inch diagonal size makes for a pleasant viewing experience. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 1080 x 2460 pixel resolution. This display appears to be of high quality and suitable for gaming, web surfing, and movie viewing.
The Cameras
The Tecno Pova 3 has three 50 MP cameras on the back. A 50MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) is included, along with two other cameras whose specifications are unknown. The camera can record videos in 1440p at 30 frames per second.
We have a single 8-megapixel camera up front that can record videos at up to 1080p @ 30fps. While the front camera has a dual-LED flash, the rear camera has a quad-LED flash.
Hardware and Software
A MediaTek Helio G88 Octa-core CPU powers the Tecno Pova 3. Performance-wise, this does not represent much of an improvement over the G85 included with the Pova2. With a twin-core Cortex A75 clocked at 2.0GHz and a Hexa-core Cortex A55 clocked at 1.8GHz, the chipset has a dual cluster design. A Mali-G52 MC2 GPU is in charge of graphics.
This Tecno phone comes with either 4GB RAM and 64GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, a specific slot is provided for increasing the storage capacity. The Memory Fusion functionality from the Tecno Spark 8C is also in the Pova 3. While the 6GB model may add an additional 5GB RAM capacity, the 4GB model can add up to 3GB more RAM.
On the software side, we have the Android 11 or Android 12 operating system on top of the HiOS user interface. Of course, as a member of the POVA family, the battery will undoubtedly be the star. The Tecno Pova 3 has a 7000 mAh battery, which is identical to the Pova2’s. The boost from 18W to 25W fast charging capacity, however, allows for faster charging this time. However, a 33W charger for the phone is included in the box.
Additionally, this Android phone has a 10W reverse charging capability that turns it into a respectable power bank for charging other electronics like wireless earphones or a smartwatch.
