Leaves of Curry
Grind a bunch of curries leaves with 2 teaspoons amla powder and 2 teaspoons Brahmi powder. Apply this to your hair like a hair mask, being careful to get the roots covered. After an hour, rinse with a gentle herbal shampoo.
Henna And Indigo
Indigo, or neel as it is more widely known, is a natural hair colourant that has been used since ancient times. It produces a bluish-black colour and can be used with henna to cover grey patches and give hair a darker hue.
Coconut Oil is a type of vegetable oil
Hair can be darkened by combining coconut oil and lemon juice. The combination of these two causes a chemical reaction which darkens the hair naturally over a period of time. So take advantage of the situation and get moving.
Black Tea
Another excellent substance for preventing grey hair is black tea. I’ve used it as a shampoo, a mask, and an after-shampoo rinse. Take 200ml of tea brew and apply it to your hair as a leave-in conditioner after shampooing. You can alternatively soak black tea leaves in warm water for 2 hours before grinding them into a smooth paste. Combine the ingredients in a hair mask and apply for 40 minutes before rinsing.

Herbal Blend
This herbal brew is easy to create at home and is great for slowing down the greying process. 1 teaspoon amla powder, 2 teaspoons black tea, 1 teaspoon strong coffee, 1/2 inch kaththa, 1 piece walnut bark, 1 teaspoon indigo, 1 teaspoon Brahmi powder, and 1 teaspoon Triphala Add all of the ingredients to 2 litres of water and cook for 30 minutes on low heat. Allow cooling before straining into an airtight bottle. Apply to the roots for 30 minutes before shampooing to notice a significant difference in hair colour.
