Honor will make its debut at the MWC on February 28. On that date, the company is scheduled to introduce the Honor Magic4 series. The series has now been detected on China’s 3C certification site, disclosing the battery specs, ahead of its release.
The next Honor Magic4 phones will have excellent rapid charging capabilities, according to the certification. The vanilla Magic4 has the model number LGE-AN00, the Magic4 Pro has the model number LGE-AN10, and the Magic 4 Pro+ has the model number LGE-AN20.
The Honor Magic4 has 11V and 6A charging capabilities, which translates to 66W rapid charging. The Magic 4Pro, on the other hand, offers a charging speed of 20V and 5A, which equates to 100W. The Magic4 Pro+ also has the same 100W quick charging capability as the Magic4 Pro.
These charging speeds on the Pro versions are amazing, especially since the predecessor’s charging speed was capped at 66W. The Magic4 trio is rumoured to contain a 4,800mAh battery, which is an increase from the Magic3’s 4,600mAh cell.
The Honor Magic4 Pro and Magic4 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, among other features. The Dimensity 9000 chipset will be used in the standard Magic4. LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage will be used in the series.
The Honor Magic4 series is claimed to have metal frames, with the Pro+ having a ceramic back. Leather finishes are likely on the backs of both the Pro and plain models.
According to rumours, the Magic4 would have a 6.55-inch 120Hz display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Magic4 Pro will sport a 6.67-inch 120Hz panel with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels. Finally, the Magic4 Pro+ will have a 6.78-inch screen with a 3200 x 1440 pixel resolution.
The Honor Magic4 series will include a 50MP primary sensor and a secondary ultra-wide lens. The series is also rumoured to include telephoto sensors, with the vanilla model sporting a 16MP telephoto lens and the Pro variants sporting a 50MP telescopic telephoto lens. The telephoto lens on the Pro versions will offer a 100x digital zoom.
