The launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate demonstrates that ASUS isn’t backing down from its annual tradition of breaking new ground in the gaming smartphone industry. The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate comes with the most powerful smartphone gaming platform yet. The smartphone resembles a more expensive version of the ASUS ROG Phone 5.
Design and Display
While there have been suggestions that Asus is trying to adapt the design of the Rog Phone to suit both gamers and regular smartphone users, the gaming accents have remained indelible thus far. Looking around its chassis, this rumored maneuver appears to be useless.
In fact, in terms of design, the front panel is the only subtle aspect of this smartphone. When the display is switched off, staring at it intently may not provide many clues. However, looking at the sides and back of the vehicle shows a lot.
Before we get into chassis placements, it’s worth noting that the ASUS ROG 5 Ultimate’s build features Gorilla glass Victus on the front, as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra 5G. Gorilla glass 3 on the back and metal on the frame are among the other features.
The back of the phone has a more refined design than the Asus Rog Phone 3. There are lines dividing portions, a camera module with three cameras and an LED flash, the ROG logo, which pretty much says it’s an Asus phone, and some other relevant stuff here.
A tiny monochromic OLED display, which can be customized to display any image of your choice or writeups, is the focal point of the rear panel design.
Up front, there’s a 6.78-inch AMOLED display surrounded by narrow bezels on the top and bottom. A resolution of 1080 x 2488, a density of 395 PPI, and a 144Hz refresh rate are among the display’s strengths.
